Full Job Description

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Manager to spearhead their key Infrastructure Programme. This role involves managing multiple projects from inception through to delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and achieving the intended benefits. This is a brand new position an exciting role to make your own.

Key Responsibilities:
Programme Leadership: Define and oversee the Enabling Infrastructure Programme, including setting up processes, information needs, and required technology.
Delivery Oversight: Supervise the delivery of new capabilities, including the Cultural Action Plan. Ensure adherence to governance frameworks and alignment with strategic roadmaps.
Coordination: Manage inter-project dependencies, resolve risks and issues, and ensure overall programme integrity.
Budget Management: Oversee the programme budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with key stakeholders, manage consultations, and promote programme progress.

Qualifications:
Essential: Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience. Formal programme management qualification (e.g., MSP). Proven experience managing large, complex programmes. Strong leadership and communication skills.
Desirable: Experience in public sector organisations, team management, and liaising with system providers. Knowledge of frameworks such as LEAN, PRINCE2, and AGILE.
