Project Accountant

Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Project Accountant based close to Falkirk paying up to £55,000 + bonus and a really competitive benefits package.

The Role

This newly created role will solely be focused on projects, and will be fully removed from BAU finance to create the capacity & bandwidth to focus on value-add. The key components of the role will include:

·      Business partnering with senior stakeholders internally and external including non-financial individuals

·      Ownership of a portfolio of high value & profile projects

·      Project performance evaluation – KPI’s, P&L, costs, budgets, forecasts

·      Supporting with project taxation matters

·      Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems

Candidate Profile

Ideally, the successful candidate will be part-qualified, finalist or qualified Accountant however the employer is also happy to consider applications of those qualified by experience.

It’s essential though, applicants have:

·      Sector experience from one of the following – infrastructure, construction, house building, energy, facilities management, oil & gas, utilities

·      Strong project accounting

·      Ability to interact, liaise and influence non-financial and senior stakeholders
