Full Job Description

  • Managing Canadian River Class Destroyer programme supplier invoicing to ensure payment within terms
  • Analysing material and labour for the Project Team, and consolidating material forecast data to support internal and external reporting
  • Maintaining the Invoice Tracker and communicating with Shared Services
  • Preparing the River Class Destroyer stock and commitment reports
  • Resolving internal and external financial data queries and complying with the BAE Systems Financial Controls Framework
  • Supporting Integrated Business Plan (IBP) and Monthly Management Reporting (MMR), cash forecasting, and cost management to ensure robust outputs for key financial reporting requirements
  • Delivering Month End activities per schedule in order to meet the deadlines of the businesscustomer

    Strong communication skills, with the ability to challenge and engage
  • Confident user of excel
  • Experience of accounting processes including invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting
  • Desirable:
  • Part-qualified or studying towards CIMA, ACCA, or ACA
