Full Job Description
The Global Marine & Offshore Services Group supports air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for UK and foreign navies. This business unit provides customers with comprehensive through-life support, from equipment delivery to ongoing administrative and project assistance.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Project Management team. Your responsibilities will include processing customer orders, coordinating service technician activities, and assisting with material procurement.

How you will do it
In this role, effective communication is essential. You will keep both internal and external customers informed about the services being provided. Collaborating closely with Project Engineers and Managers, you will coordinate the activities of regional service technicians, ensuring smooth operations.
Your key responsibilities include:
Planning and scheduling the work of regional service delivery teams.
Managing customer inquiries and attending customer meetings and contract reviews where applicable.
Assisting with invoicing, compiling costs for time-and-materials jobs, and ensuring service time sheets are submitted promptly.
Overseeing vendor management and providing general administrative support to the operational team.
Maintaining accurate records of service technician assets, including tools and PPE.
Strong organizational skills.
Prior experience in planning and scheduling engineers (essential).
Previous experience in a similar role (highly desirable).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow processes and engage effectively with staff at all levels.
Eligibility to work on UK defence contracts, with the requirement to successfully attain security clearance.
