We are one of the largest and most experienced teams of port and marine structures designers globally and we are world leaders in the production of port feasibility studies and designs. You'll be part of the Edinburgh Maritime Team led by our Associate Director. The Edinburgh office is part of a larger UK maritime team across 5 UK offices.About the Role: We are looking to recruit an ambitious individual to join our Edinburgh office to support our growing Maritime team, to be an integral member of the team. In this role you will be responsible for the electronic management of project documentation, supporting Project Managers within the team.Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Create and manage document filing system utilising SharePoint.
  • Create and format Microsoft Word reports in accordance with requirements.
  • Create and manage Microsoft Excel spreadsheets by extracting defined data and in accordance with requirements.
  • Ensure correct data control to maintain confidentiality.
  • Reviewing and formatting of Microsoft Word documents and making revisions for accuracy and presentations.
  • Ensure file naming convention is respected.
  • Liaising with project team members to ensure documents meet requirements and deadlines.
  • Issuing, receiving, and logging documentation as part of a document control system.
  • Qualifications and experience:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Able to pass UK Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
  • Able to take responsibility and initiative.
  • Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to work to deadlines and manage time accordingly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
