We are looking for a number of Project Structural Engineers to join our Structures and Fire Team based in our Belfast office to work on a diverse range of projects across both the Private and Public Sector.
About The Team:
The Structural Engineering Sector within RPS has been responsible for some of the UK and Ireland's most prestigious buildings including the iconic £97m Titanic Belfast Building. We are engaged on many exciting schemes both within the private and public sector and can offer a diverse range of interesting projects for the right person to thrive. About the Role:
The post will involve working within a team delivering full structural engineering design services on a range of development projects for Commercial and Industrial buildings;
Working with structural technicians to communicate designs into drawings
Designing elements in concrete, steel, timber and masonry
Working with senior staff in in the technical delivery of projects
Mentoring given for all aspects of your job role;
Liaison with other members of the Design team and attendance at meetings
Excellent opportunity for career progression
Visiting sites to carry out inspection duties;
Preparation of reports as requested
MEng / BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with Architecture.
Working knowledge of Computational Structural Analysis software (Masterseries, Orion, Tedds or similar);
Experience of BIM and 3D Modelling Software (Revit) for drawing;
Working knowledge of UK design codes, Euro codes and specifications;
Ability to work on your own and as part of a Team
Maintaining your CPD and progress towards Chartership;
Willingness to learn
Full UK driving licence.
