Full Job Description

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Change & Technology department on a full time, permanent basis.

Over the next 12 months and beyond we are transforming our business and the way we work. We are modernising our systems and processes and reviewing how we position ourselves in the market, to support our growth strategy and help us to achieve our commercial ambitions. Our Project Office team are central to ensuring we deliver our ambitious change agenda in the best way.

What’s in it for you?

At Golden Charter, everyone is trusted to be themselves, develop themselves and make a valuable contribution for our customers. Our rewards and recognition are continually evolving to make sure we are well looked after whilst enabling us to choose the benefits we want.

We are currently based in Bearsden but will be moving to the city centre in the near future. We understand the importance of work life balance and have a very flexible approach to where we work, with most employees splitting their time between working at home and working in the office. If our customers are getting the right service and our business objectives are progressing at pace, then that’s more important to us than where you work.

Along with flexibility, we offer lots of the perks and benefits you would expect from an FCA regulated company including a health cash plan, flexible benefits allowance, on-site masseuse and yoga classes, Employee Assistance Programme and mental health first aid.

What you'll be doing:

As Project Manager, you’ll support the delivery of change initiatives by managing day-to-day project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within scope and according to quality standards. You’ll assist in planning, coordinating resources and monitoring project progress to help achieve objectives.

The Project Manager plays a crucial part in maintaining project momentum and ensuring that all deliverables align with organisational goals, contributing to the overall success of the change projects.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders and team members to gather project requirements, provide regular updates and support the resolution of issues as they arise. As Project Manager, you’ll assist in managing project risks and issues, helping to develop and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.

What we’re looking for:

  • Prior experience of guiding diverse teams through project lifecycles
  • Experience of coaching and mentoring cross functional project teams
  • Proven track record in successful delivery of customer-focused projects
  • Proven ability to facilitate project delivery using structured and adaptable methodologies
  • Proven commercial experience with a track record of delivering projects
  • Proficient in using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA and Asana
