About the Role: Join our Local Government and Education (LG&E) Team as a Project Manager, delivering lifecycle and minor capital works across various contracts in the East of Scotland and North East of England. You'll ensure cost-effective project development and delivery, demonstrating 'value for money' to our clients. This role involves managing compliance, Health and Safety, and overseeing specialist designers and contractors., Key Responsibilities: You will deliver projects in compliance with contracts, governance, and Health and Safety legislation. Manage multiple programmes, ensuring quality assurance and integrity. Oversee budgets, liaise with local Operational Teams, and facilitate the appointment of Design Teams and Contractors. Deliver projects to agreed quality, programme, and budget. Manage P&L/cost control, third-party contributions, and stakeholder communications. Report progress regularly and seek continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience: Preferably degree-qualified in a surveying or construction-related discipline, with membership of RICS, CIOB, RIBA, CIBSE, MIET, or APM. A relevant Health & Safety qualification is essential. Proven track record in project development and delivery, with experience in pre-construction and construction phases. Competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project is desirable. Experience managing multiple projects or programmes with values ranging from £1K to £2,000,000 is required.

Person Specification: Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Experience with consultancy practices or FM providers, managing design teams and/or contractors. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good knowledge of project management methodology, budgeting, and resource allocation. Problem-solving skills and flexibility in approach are important. A full UK driving licence is required.
