Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

This is a fulltime post of 37 hours per week.

This shift pattern is Monday to Friday, 8.30am-16.30pm.

Prosthetics Technician

We are looking for someone to work as part of a team responsible for the manufacture and repair of custom-built Prosthetic limbs within the West of Scotland. You will be educated to HNC in a relevant engineering or craft discipline, or have an equivalent level of knowledge and skills. You must be conversant in the use of equipment required to manufacture and adjust prostheses and be able to demonstrate evidence of ongoing technical development/education.

Good time management, problem solving, team working and communication skills are essential.
