Working in the field and servicing our client's needs through regular site visits & periodic statutory examinations ensuring various pressure equipment is compliant with current regulatory and statutory requirements. You will utilise your strong approach to customer care and operate within all H&S standards to achieve optimal service delivery in this busy and progressive role. This position would suit a service engineer. Duties Include: As part of your regular duties listed below you will be expected to travel widely within your allocated region and should expect to stay away from home on occasion.
- Regular Site visits and periodic statutory examinations of pressure equipment including pressure vessels, steam pressure equipment, piping, air receivers, heat exchangers, coffee machines, boilers, HVAC.
- Maintenance Audits.
- Trouble shooting.
- Regular reporting.
- Responding to client needs.
This role would suit an ambitious and driven engineer with relevant industry experience working with pressure vessels and a willingness to travel and work away from home on occasion., PSSR Statutory Inspection experience preferred but training will be provided. - Computer proficient.
- Provide and deliver concise reports with attention to detail.
- Self-disciplined and self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised.
- Willingness to undertake travel with occasional overnight stays.
- Professionalism and collaborative.
- Ability to risk assess safe condition and future use of equipment.
- Strong communicator with people skills.
- The ability to make decisions and inform clients of decisions regarding safety.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, you will have:
- Experience working with pressure vessels.
- Knowledge of PSSR and PUWER regulations would be beneficial but not essential as appropriate training will be provided.
- Minimum NVQ, ONC level 3 in Mechanical Engineering preferred but not essential.
