Requirements

You will have a Degree in Social Work, Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, CSS (with appropriate options).

Responsibilities

You will maintain a strong social work knowledge base and ensure staff within Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership (DHSCP) are enabled to provide effective and safe practice in relation to the range of Public Protection work to both prevent and respond to people at all ages who are at risk of harm. This includes but not limited to Alcohol and Drug Use, Violence Against Women Girls, Adult Support and Protection, Suicide Prevention, Humanitarian Protection, Child Protection and Violent Offending.

The Individual

You will have significant experience in a related field, experience leading change management, delivering or managing operational protection processes. Excellent working knowledge of protection legislation, core operational processes and practice, experience of multi-agency working and experience carrying out and implementing quality assurance activity are essential. You will have working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, including teams, word, excel, the ability to analyse and present complex information, excellent oral and written skills, including presentation skills. You will demonstrate ability to translate national strategy to local context, the ability to plan and develop objectives and monitor performance and outcomes, the ability to lead improvement and service developments, demonstrate empathy with vulnerable people. You will work out with normal working hours and flexible approach to this.
