Toronto Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the community of Howden in Livingston. It is part of the Inveralmond Community High School cluster. The school roll is 306 with pupils being organised into eleven classes (P1-7) and a 30/30 nursery. The senior leadership team comprises the Head Teacher, Depute Head Teacher and a Principal Teacher. In addition to fifteen class teachers, there is a team of pupil support workers, an inclusion teacher and support for learning teacher. The school office is currently staffed by a clerical assistant.

We are seeking 2 individuals to join the pupil support team in the school.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the West Lothian Council

This position requires registration with the SSSC.  The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.
