Pupil Support Assistant - ASL/ESP
Castlebrae Community Campus

Salary: £23,651 - £23,857 (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 30 per week, 39 weeks sessional

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated dynamic inspirational Pupil Support Assistant to play a key role in our diverse, innovative, creative and supportive team.

We are looking for a Pupil Support Assistant to join our ASL/ESP team. This post would suit someone who has previous experience working with, and to provide support for young people with high levels of needs. They will understand and value the importance of the young people’s health and wellbeing. Flexibility, enthusiasm and a commitment to inclusion are some of the key skills required to fulfil the post.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a staff that is committed to ensuring that our young people receive the highest quality of education and experiences within a nurturing school environment.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.  Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
