Pupil Support Assistant, Enhanced Support (Fixed Term until 17 August 2025) - PKC11880
£15,925 - £16,828 (27.5 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Pitlochry High School

As a Pupil Support Assistant, you may be responsible for supporting children and young people who have additional support needs to access the curriculum under the direction of teachers and senior managers, this would also include supporting positive behaviour management programmes and contributing to personal learning plans.

Other support may involve active learning, assisting pupils with intimate care routines when required, and supervising pupils in the playground or out of school events or activities.

The Individual

We are looking for an individual who can work as part of a team and can demonstrate experience (paid/voluntary) of supporting children and young people

A genuine interest in the development of children and their wellbeing is essential and the important qualities are empathy, patience and an ability to engage with children and young people.

Sensitivity is also required when dealing with any care routines and to respect confidentiality at all times.
