- Ways in which you have demonstrated that you can work effectively as part of a team., We are looking for a committed Pupil Support Officer to assist in providing a safe, secure and inclusive environment for pupils. To develop positive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and other services, building pupil confidence, and enhancing their ability to learn. As a Pupil Support Officer, you will assist in the promotion of school policies such as Relationship and Behaviour Management, Anti-Bullying and Attendance. This will involve:
- Building relationships with pupils based on trust and respect.
- Assisting with corridor, dining room, social area, playground and bus supervision.
- Patrolling school buildings and premises to provide an adult presence., Role Profile - when preparing your supporting statement, review the role profile and think about how you meet the essential criteria

- Ways in which you have demonstrated an understanding on medical protocol procedures. (Consider the following: how have you assisted with pupil medical needs, how have you used supervisory skills including in emergency situations, what skills have you used to ensure medical protocols are followed)
- Ways in which you have demonstrated effective presentation skills (Consider the following: how have you embraced technology and information, including verbal and written reports), Experience of working with young people (Taking Ownership - See How We Work Matters Framework) Educated to SCQF level 4, which includes National 4 or Standard Grades at General level or O' Grades or equivalent Ability to establish good working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents Time and workload management skills Ability to provide a regular and effective Service
