Addiewell Early Years provides early learning and childcare to the village of Addiewell and the surrounding area.  We are a 50 week facility and provide a mixture of full day and half day places.  As a member of the Early Years team you will work to support the provision of a high quality learning environment for all children promoting challenge, curiosity and creativity.

  • 8 hours will work Monday to Thursday 4.15pm – 6.15pm
  • 24 hours will work Monday to Thursday 8am – 2pm

This post is considered Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scotland Act 2007. From 28 February 2011 preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.

This position requires registration with the SSSC.  The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. 

SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date.
