Knightsridge Primary School is a non-denominational school situated in the community of Knightsridge in Livingston. Knightsridge Primary School is looking for a highly motivated Pupil Support Worker to join the team. 

The role of Pupil Support Worker will be to work as part of the whole school team, demonstrating a good knowledge of child development.   The successful candidate will develop positive nurturing relationships with learners, provide high quality interactions throughout their practice and support the learning and emotional needs of pupils. 

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the West Lothian Council

This position requires registration with the SSSC.  The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC.   SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date
