St. Ninian’s Primary School is a denominational primary school serving the communities of Dedridge, Adambrae and Murieston. Our school roll is 232 pupils and we have 10 classes (P1-P7) and a  nursery class.

St. Ninian’s Primary School is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and nurturing Pupil Support Worker within our team in the nursery.   The nursery is open 50 week a year and staff require to work flexibly across the opening hours.

The successful candidate will work as part of a forward thinking team, bringing a sound knowledge of child development and will respond to the individual needs of each child, providing high quality, caring interactions and learning and teaching experiences.

This position requires registration with the SSSC.  The successful candidate will have six months from the date of commencement of this post to become registered with the SSSC. 

SSSC stipulate you must submit your application within three months of your start date

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by West Lothian Council.
