Purchase Ledger Clerk

  • Annual Salary: 24k - 26k
  • Location: Edinburgh
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Reed Accountancy are currently working with a fantastic organisation located in the heart of Edinburgh seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy Head Office. This role is office-based and offers the opportunity to be part of a dedicated payments team.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Processing a high volume of invoices for both weekly and monthly payment runs.
  • Recharging supplier invoices to customers.
  • Conducting month-end reconciliation.
  • Ensuring accurate processing of all transactions within set deadlines.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient financial operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy in task execution.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact within the team and with external stakeholders.
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn accounting software.
