An opportunity has arisen for a full time Purchasing Assistant to join the Procurement and Contract Management Team.

The successful candidate would be responsible for undertaking purchasing transactions on behalf of the council and for providing support/advice in relation to low value purchases.
The Purchasing Assistant will also contribute to the Purchase to Pay process, helping ensure that purchasing transactions are effective and efficient and record information within the council's purchasing system that is accurate, well-structured and informative
