Full Job Description

Our software development teams are essential to creating the next generation of Evoke's sports betting platform. This platform is engineered to process thousands of bets per second while managing an extensive array of sports event data. Our primary mission is to provide customers with an exceptional, enjoyable, and secure betting experience. To uphold these high standards, we're looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you'll play a key role in ensuring the highest quality across our projects within a dynamic, agile environment.   • Lead the testing process from project requirements to production release, building a deep understanding of the project and testing goals
  • Design, review, and execute thorough manual test cases, and create automated tests as needed
  • Analyze test outcomes, manage defect resolution through closure, and provide clear QA status updates, escalating issues as appropriate
  • Work within an Agile framework, leveraging JIRA and continuous delivery tools and processes
  • Actively engage in all scrum ceremonies, including refinement, planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless integration of QA practices within the project lifecycle
  • Maintain and expand documentation, including how-to guides, to support a repeatable and scalable test environment
  • Contribute to process improvements within QA, identifying opportunities to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency

    Expertise in Quality Assurance across both manual and automated testing techniques
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, well-suited for agile, fast-paced environments
  • Proficient in Jira, Unix, SQL, Postman, and knowledgeable in continuous delivery tools and processes
  • Experienced in testing multi-tier systems, including databases, application servers, and web interfaces, with ISTQB or equivalent certification
