Full Job Description

There is an exciting opportunity for a QA Officer with excellent knowledge and industrial experience to join our team. The candidate must be able to work collaboratively with all team members to drive the company towards Good Quality Practise. This will involve interaction with both the Management and Production teams to ensure a satisfactory level of quality compliance. They will be responsible for leading the establishment and ongoing maintenance of an electronic Quality Management System, generation and review of quality documents and the delivery of appropriate Quality training. Excellent communication and strong attention to detail are required.

In return, the successful candidate will be embedded within a dynamic, sociable team in an office-based role with flexible working hours. This position will be based at brand new facilities at the Roslin Innovation Centre where there is regular bus links to the City Centre, free on-site parking, an on-site gym and several on-site cafes - the perfect setting to meet colleagues over a coffee in view of the Pentland Hills.,

  • At least 2 years' experience in a QA role within Life Sciences

  • Educated to degree level in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology or a related field

  • Excellent knowledge of GLP and GMP principles to establish practices to facilitate future certification

  • Proven experience in the implementation and maintenance of an electronic Quality Management System

  • Ability to interpret regulatory requirements relevant to the projects undertaken at Ingenza

  • Strong interpersonal skills allowing the clear dissemination of information and training to staff at different levels and departments.

  • A strong problem-solving ability, experience in Root Cause Analysis and CAPA management

  • Ability to demonstrate a flexible hard-working approach are key attributes for this position.

  • The candidate must be able to multitask, have excellent attention to detail and time management skills., Previous experience in a GMP environment

  • Ability to work flexibly to anticipate and develop creative solutions to quality challenges

  • Previous line management or mentoring experience.
