Full Job Description

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is offering an exceptional opportunity for a QC Technician II to join our world-class team in Scotland. As a key member of our microbiology department at the Inchinnan site, you will be responsible for carrying out finished good and raw material testing within an ISO accredited laboratory environment. This is opportunity to contribute to the execution of testing schedules, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving departmental safety and quality objectives.

Responsibilities:Perform basic raw material and finished good release testing according to standard operating procedures, including microbial testing and sampling, environmental monitoring, and calibration/daily checks of laboratory equipment.Support and maintain 5s, safety, environmental, and waste management program.Provide support for testing related to validation processes, technical investigations, and improvement initiatives.Maintain and complete product testing as per testing procedures and in accordance with ISO 13485.Participate in personal development opportunities.

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a field related to Biology.Previous experience in a similar environment preferred, but not essential.Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.Strong organisational skills and commitment to excellence.

You will collaborate with all other departments within the operational department and may have contact with external sources.
