Job Description: Quality Control SupervisorLocation: Dundee

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Control Supervisor to join our client in Dundee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in line management, continuous improvement, and quality control within a manufacturing or factory environment. This role requires an individual who can work effectively within diverse teams, navigate potentially conflicted environments, and act independently with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards and specifications.
* Lead and mentor a team of quality control inspectors, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
* Implement and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
* Analyse data to identify quality issues, develop data-based solutions, and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and improvement areas.
* Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team and across the organisation.

Qualifications:
* Proven experience in quality control and line management within a manufacturing or factory setting.
* Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and quality control processes.
* Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and manage conflicts constructively.
* Demonstrated the ability to act independently and take initiative in identifying and solving problems.
* Proactive approach with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Certification in quality
* Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and relevant industry standards.
