Full Job Description

Here are some of the duties your role will include: -

· Support the implementation of the governance framework and management system throughout the business unit, maintain continued adherence through active engagement and provide feedback to continually improve it.

· Assist in the delivery of a communication methodology so that governance briefings are carried out in accordance with procedures and standards.

· Build and maintain relationships with auditee’s and senior leaders, influencing decision making relating to the effective delivery of audits and the changes required to close finding that result.

· Conduct audits in accordance with the business unit audit plan providing assurance that the strategic objectives of the business are being met.

· Provide advice to enable the approval of contractor Quality Plans.

· Review and evaluate quality performance data to assess the performance of the assigned assurance processes.

· Produce specific reviews / lessons learned and reports from emerging data, audits and investigation findings drawing out meaningful conclusions.

· Carry out routine analysis of key information to identify those issues requiring immediate attention and to determine the efficiency of the resolution deficiencies.

· Conduct and Manage the outputs from the audits in accordance with the relevant requirements.

· Experience of operating in a complex construction project environment across multi-disciplinary areas.

· Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute, Certified IRCA Auditor or relevant professional body recognition

· Good knowledge of Quality management tools and techniques.

· Good communication skills

· Excellent report writing and presentation skills

Desirable

· Good knowledge of GRIP

· Understanding of procurement and supply chain management.

· An appreciation of the structure of the railway industry and its basic operations.
