Quantity / Senior Quantity Surveyor (PQS)

Our global consultancy client is recruiting for two experienced Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors in their Edinburgh office, you should have a minimum of 4 years PQS experience leading projects through their full lifecycle from inception to final accounts, chartered is advantageous but not essential. They have a professional APC programme with 100% pass rate and a clear personal development plan to support your career growth.

Some of the projects you can expect to work on: £350m major projects in defence and data centres (Europe), education £20m to £150m, retail, commercial developments, historic and conservation.

Job Objectives:

• Administer various contracts in line with project goals and policies.
• Provide precise monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of project costs to ensure budget adherence until completion.
• Proactively manage cost variances and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to achieve project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives, including program performance, cost control, and value engineering.
• Effectively manage contract changes to ensure projects stay within governance and follow best practices.
• Enhance the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.

Qualifications:

• BSc in Quantity Surveying
• Preferably hold or be working towards MRICS
• Experience in Contract Management, with a preference for NEC3/4

• Salary expectations are depending on experience, you can expect circa. £45,000 to £60,000 per annum
