Job Opportunity: Quantity Surveyor (Renewable Energy Project in Edinburgh)

We are representing a well-known and highly regarded civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering some of the UK's most recognisable and technically challenging projects. Operating across sectors such as water, marine, land remediation, and energy, our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team for an exciting renewable energy project based in Edinburgh.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee projects from tender through to final account.
  • Produce accurate forecasts of project costs.
  • Prepare and submit commercial reports.
  • Provide commercial assistance to operational teams and others when required.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and decision-makers.

Experience Required:

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Civil Engineering sector.
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
