Job – Quantity Surveyor
Location – Glasgow

Are you looking for the next step in your career as a Quantity Surveyor? Our client is a leading provider in the UK water and wastewater infrastructure sectors.
As part of our DV2 Lot 4 Framework, you’ll contribute to delivering Scottish Water’s six-year MEICA Framework, a key capital investment programme across Scotland.
Your Role as Quantity Surveyor: As a key member of our Commercial Team, you will be responsible for the financial and commercial management of projects. You’ll work closely with project management teams to ensure that budgets are adhered to, costs are controlled, and commercial targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Administering the commercial and financial aspects of projects.
- Liaising with the Project Management Teams to ensure cost and value reporting.
- Managing procurement, including labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
- Preparing commercial performance reports.
- Overseeing cost control and cash collection processes.
- Managing subcontractor contracts and relationships.
Background:
- A degree, HND, or equivalent in Commercial Management/Quantity Surveying or substantial relevant experience.
- Experience with NEC contracts is essential.
- A commercially and contractually astute individual who takes ownership of performance.
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to manage large amounts of data accurately.
- A proactive, results-driven mindset with high attention to detail.
