Job Description:

We have been engaged by a reputable and long-standing national contractor who, due to a period of sustained growth, have a requirement for an additional QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join their team on a permanent basis.

The business typically delivers steel framed building projects.

Responsibilities:

·       Manage month end applications, invoicing & valuations within agreed timescales.

·       Identify variations communicate to clients and obtain cost approval.

·       Manage client contractual requirements within contract documents.

·       Produce P&L reports for all projects.

·       Attending site for internal/external meetings including site measures

Essential Criteria:

·       Degree Qualified QUANTITY SURVEYOR (minimum 2 years post qualification experience)

·       Specialist sub-contracting experience desirable

·       NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use.

·       Ability to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.

·       Contract / project management ability.

·       Commercial acumen, pre and post contract

·       Change control management.

·       Project cost value reconciliation, risk management

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word

·       Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders.

·       Full UK Drivers Licence
