Bring us your capability, and we'll help you take it much, much further.What you'll be doing You will be a Quantity Surveyor with civils experience who will manages all budgets associated within their area of responsibility.
- Conduct cost estimates, budget preparation, and cost control for assigned projects.
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Conduct risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial goals are met.
- Regularly update project financial reports and providing insights to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations
Experience as a Quantity Surveyor - Civil engineering experience would be advantageous.
- Analytical Thinking & Decision Making
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The following qualifications are essential:
- BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or experience equivalent
- Working towards professional membership from the RICS, ICES or CIOB
- CSCS Card (Academically Qualified/Professional Qualified Person) The following is desirable.
- Experience of working with the NEC4 Form of Contract
- Experience with a Tier 1 contractor, ideally in civil engineering.
