Quantity Surveyor (Great progression prospects)

PFC Careers are working with a well established and highly M&E contractor operating in central Scotland. They have worked with a number of established clients, in both the commercial and social housing sector

They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join a small close knit commercial team. The role offers a direct and achievable route to Commercial Management.

As the Quantity Surveyor, your duties will include:

• Reviewing project costs for accuracy and addressing any discrepancies.
• Evaluating, pricing, negotiating, and finalising budgets and costs for project scope changes
• Developing and maintaining procurement schedules. 
• Preparing bills of quantities and schedules of works to facilitate accurate project pricing.

Requirements:

• Experience of working within the Mechanical and Electrical sector
• Degree qualified in quantity surveying/or similar (HNC, etc) (Desirable)
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
