Working with a variety of partners, the New Supply team as a key role in guiding this regeneration towards sustainable development. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the planning and delivery of the council’s new supply programme which aims to deliver 5,000 new homes by 2035.
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will join the New Supply team where you will be based in our corporate office in Motherwell but will operate under our hybrid model of office and home-based working with an expectation to travel to council facilities and sites across North Lanarkshire as required and support the procurement and delivery of the council’s new build programme.
You should have a RICS accredited degree or degree with postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and hold full membership of RICS. You should have considerable experience within the design and construction industry and experience of computerised billing systems. You should also have a good knowledge of current contract conditions and be able to work to deadlines.
Full Chartered membership of RICS, experience within a Housing or public sector environment and knowledge of public sector procurement is desirable.

Monday to Thursday - 08.45 - 16.45
Friday - 08.45 - 16.15
