Full Job Description

We are seeking a IT Support Engineer to manage and execute software deployment activities across enterprise systems, with a focus on software updates and campaign content delivery to ATM devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise software distribution tools, strong Excel skills, and a background in IT support—preferably within the ATM or banking industry.

Salary: £28,000-£31000 + bonus + benefits

Location: Dundee

Key Responsibilities:


  • Plan, schedule, and execute software distribution and update campaigns across enterprise environments, including ATM networks.
  • Utilize various enterprise software and content deployment tools, be ready to quickly adopt to the new solutions.
  • Own and ensure software compliance across the managed environment.
  • Monitor deployment performance, troubleshoot distribution failures, and optimize processes for reliability and efficiency.
  • Communicate regularly with the Account Support Organization to align deployment activities and resolve issues proactively.
  • Work closely with IT support teams to ensure smooth delivery and minimal disruption to end-user systems and ATMs.
  • Generate detailed reports using Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualizations to track content delivery progress and system status.
  • Attend regular team meetings to report progress, align on tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define software and campaign deployment objectives, timelines, and success metrics.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Required Qualifications:


  • 1- 2 years of relevant IT experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Experience in IT support, ideally in the ATM or financial services industry.
  • Understanding of software deployment lifecycles, ITIL processes, and change management procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • University degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent working experience in a similar IT role.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise software distribution tools (e.g., CA ITCM, Microsoft SCCM, or similar).
  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) for automation of deployment tasks.
  • ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Experience working in regulated or highly secure environments.
