Blue Arrow are currently recruiting Counterbalance and Reach fork lift drivers for our client in Uddingston.

MUST HAVE BOTH REACH AND COUNTERBALANCE LICENCES.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a rapidly growing company.

With a great rate of pay rate of 13.10 per hour

Shifts are Monday to Friday 8.30am -5pm - Need to be flexible to work weekends.

Day to day responsibilities

  • Carry out agreed forklift inspections on a daily basis and immediately report any actual or possible defects to your Line Manager
  • No loading bays, you will use a ramp to get the loads on and off.
  • Will need to be physically fit and not 100% on the FLT. Will need driving licence as they are opening a new site in Paisely and eventually all staff will be moving to there.
  • General forklift driving to include off-loading and loading, moving stock/pallets from production/other areas and around the warehouse, rotating stock, positioning stock in racking, picking orders and assisting order pickers, extracting products from racking in order, loading to vehicles.
  • Assist in the general activities of the warehouse as and when required, to include dealing with documentation, assisting with stock management, and to include support and assistance to customers
  • effective liaison with internal and external customers
  • carry out planned tasks in accordance with requirements and within agreed time limits
  • maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
  • immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager
  • contribute towards the smooth running of the team
  • adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
  • From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
  • You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.
