Full Job Description

Role- Receptionist (On-Site)

Location- Edinburgh

Working hours- Full time Monday- Friday 9am-5pm

Reed Business Support are working with a globally recognised professional services business that looking to add to their business with a new Receptionist. You will join our collaborative Operations team, providing essential support and services to our head office!

Duties-

In this role, you'll enhance your skills by managing a variety of reception and administrative tasks, including:

- Providing a welcoming experience and high standard of service to all visitors and callers.

- Managing reception duties, including call announcements.

- Opening and scanning incoming mail (training will be provided).

- Overseeing the meeting room booking system and arranging refreshments.

- Booking transportation services for clients, partners, and team members.

- Keeping the reception area organised and presentable.

- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and parcels.

- Ensuring end-of-day security protocols are completed.

On top of the above duties, you will also assist the Operations team with additional administrative tasks to support colleagues, such as:

- Digital filing, archiving, scanning, and organising client records.

- Preparing and serving tea/coffee for meetings.

- Tidying and organising meeting rooms.

- Photocopying and document preparation.

- Occasionally assisting with board meeting preparation.

- Other ad hoc administrative tasks as needed.

- Ability to handle some light physical tasks (e.g., carrying files, setting up meeting rooms) - manual handling training will be provided.
