As a Recruitment Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, attracting, and retaining top talent within MTS. You will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies to meet the evolving needs of our organisation. Your expertise in special recruitment skills will be crucial in filling hard-to-find roles, and your proven track record of success in recruiting niche skill sets will be essential in overcoming challenges unique to our industry.,
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies tailored to MTS, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Engage with internal and external customers on a daily basis with the aim of building long lasting relationships and driving continuous improvement throughout the full hiring process.
- Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry partnerships.
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates for hard-to-fill roles, utilising creative approaches to attract talent.
- In conjunction with the wider business, conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, succession planning and provide guidance on recruitment best practices on an ongoing basis to stay ahead of the needs.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial candidate sourcing to offer negotiation, onboarding and through to training plan sign off.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws, policies, and industry best practices
- Track key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, turnover)
Proven experience in recruitment within the engineering sector, preferably within a similar organisation. - Demonstrated success in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Strong knowledge of special recruitment skills, including sourcing passive candidates and filling hard-to-fill roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a track record of devising innovative approaches to attract and engage candidates.
- Customer-oriented with professional demeanour.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Strong administration systems with excellent attention to detail.
- Computer skills including use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. Powerpoint & Outlook) packages
