Central Area Services

Full Time – 37 hours per week

Salary: £23,534 - £24,914

About the job:

We are looking for an experienced Administrator to lead our regional admin team. Based in Alloa, the Regional Administrator is responsible for providing effective and efficient administration support for the teams who deliver direct support in our Central and Lothian Area Services. 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead on the delivery of high quality administrative support for the Central and Lothian regions in line with GDPR
  • Oversee and support with all stages of recruitment including the onboarding process, and safer recruitment checks whilst being a signatory for Disclosure Scotland PVG Application forms
  • Develop and maintain Scottish Autism’s local administration, financial and personnel systems and records
  • Lead the office team to act responsively as a welcoming first point of enquiry for colleagues, external agencies and visitors to the service
  • Coordinate the handling and usage of a company credit card within the region in accordance with Scottish Autism financial policy and procedures.
  • Undertake the responsibilities of financial appointeeship, ensuring the safe management and reconciliation of money, benefits, and banking for the people we support,
  • Line manage clerical assistants in our Central and Lothian Services, coaching them to identify their individualised learning pathway and supporting them to achieve their objectives.  

About you:

You will have previous administrative experience and be competent with Microsoft Office packages. Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise and organise workload is essential for this role. You will also be required to work as part of a team and to exercise initiative. Successful candidates will be able to work collaboratively, engaging with a variety of colleagues across numerous other Scottish Autism departments, as well as with external stakeholders including individual’s families and partner authorities.
