Full Job Description
At Crown Paints, we are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to lead and inspire a team across Scotland and Northern England. - Strategic Sales Growth: Drive revenue and exceed targets by developing and executing innovative sales strategies. Identify new business opportunities while strengthening existing customer relationships.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Key Account Managers and Contractor Specification Managers. Foster a high-performance culture that delivers results and encourages professional growth.
- Account Management Excellence: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key trade customers, including independent merchants, decorating centres, and wholesalers. Ensure customer satisfaction and drive long-term brand loyalty.
- Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. Convert leads into lasting partnerships and establish Crown Paints as the supplier of choice.
- Market Insight & Strategy: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity. Use market intelligence to refine sales tactics and identify areas for growth.
- Commercial Acumen: Manage pricing structures, negotiate contracts, and oversee promotional initiatives to optimize profitability and market share.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, technical, and operational teams to deliver tailored, customer-focused solutions. Align efforts to ensure seamless execution and superior service delivery.
- Performance Analytics: Track, analyse, and report on sales performance. Use data-driven insights to continuously improve strategies and outcomes.
Proven track record in a B2B sales environment, preferably withing paint, coatings, trade or construction. However please apply if you are an expert in a different sector! - Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with groups and individuals
- Experience managing and developing regional teams
- IT proficient specifically in Microsoft Office and digital sale tools
