Full Job Description

We are looking for a Regional Service Desk Agent to join our Information & Technology team at Menzies Aviation, based at Sydney International Airport. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality IT support and troubleshooting to our employees across the region. What you'll be doing

  • Respond to and resolve IT-related enquiries and incidents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide first-line support for a range of hardware, software and network issues
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of all support activities
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical specialists
  • Assist with the deployment and configuration of new IT equipment and systems
  • Provide training and guidance to users on the effective use of IT systems and applications

    Proven experience in a similar IT support or service desk role
  • Extensive knowledge in AD360, Service Now, Microsoft Intune and AVD.
  • Experience implementing and supporting Meraki devices and networking.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Familiarity with a range of hardware, software, and network technologies
  • Certification in ITIL or similar IT service management framework is desirable
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Technical Skill set
  • Hands-on Meraki SD-WAN and Cloud Managed Security network technologies to implement and troubleshoot.
  • Experienced with Airport based LAN connectivity infrastructure.
  • Good knowledge of VLAN technologies in a multi-vendor environment.
  • In-depth technical skills to support VOIP systems spanning multiple countries
  • Deep understanding of Wi-Fi protocols/ security encryption to install, support and troubleshoot Wireless communication environments.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, Google and Amazon cloud SAAS products
  • Good understanding and practical experience of firewalls within the Meraki MX appliance.
  • Extensive working knowledge of Windows and Chrome OS
  • Good practical understanding of Apple IOS systems
