Regional Tax Managers - Americas

Hutcheon Mearns are working with a Private Equity backed, high growth, multi-national organisation to source a Tax Manager to support their Amercias Region. This is an exciting opportunity which will allow the successful candidate to truly make a difference and advance their career. The Opportunity

This position is a key role in the company's Tax Department and will be responsible for the management and execution of tax compliance, tax reporting and commercial tax advisory functions in the region. In addition, it will be responsible for other tax work both in the region and globally as directed by the Tax Director. 'Tax' will cover all taxes arising in the normal course of business at the Group, including but not limited to corporate tax, personal income tax, VAT and sales taxes, custom duties and any other related taxes.

The Tax Manager will also work with the Tax Director on implementing Global tax improvements and initiatives including systems improvements, documenting tax processes and specific tax projects. They will assist in representing the Group in its relationship with the relevant tax authorities in the MEA region. They will also be responsible for management of all tax audits in the region.

Background and Experience

To be successful you will be an experienced international tax professional, ideally with experience in the Amercias region. You will have a practice or industry background, or a combination of both. You will be a confident communicator, be able to make decisions and enjoy having influence and making a difference. There is flexibility over where this role can be based Scotland wide.
