An exciting opportunity exists for a UK registered nurse to join the Specialist Palliative Care Team as a Staff Nurse on a permanent basis within Cornhill Macmillan Centre Day services.  The team at Cornhill Day services provide care to the residents of Perth and Kinross.

This post offers those interested in developing their skills within Specialist Palliative care a great opportunity to work in an area that offers an introduction to Specialist Palliative Care where palliative care education and training will be provided.  This post is based within the Day Services area Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

You will require the ability to provide high standards of care to patients and carers with specialist palliative care needs. This post offers opportunities to further advance nursing skills and knowledge within the field of Specialist Palliative Care. Applicants must have effective communication and interpersonal skills to work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary colleagues, have a positive attitude to change and evidence of continued professional development. 

You must be registered on sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub -part 2 : RN2 of the UK NMC Register
