Registered Nurse

We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Medicine for the Elderly speciality in Tay Ward (Elderly Rehabilitation for Perth City) at Perth Royal Infirmary.

You will have the opportunity for CPD learning and would be supported to be involved in current improvement projects. There is an opportunity for clinical skills training for intravenous drug administration, venepuncture and cannulation as well as other skills.

Do you have a keen interest in elderly care and rehabilitation, and enabling patients to regain as much independence as possible? Do you want to work closely with a specialist multi disciplinary team to promote patient centred care in a supportive environment?

Tay Ward You will be part of a Multidisciplinary Team who are committed to providing rehabilitation which is patient centred. This unit is supported by specialist MFE consultants and MFE research fellows. There is a ward rehab area, outdoor garden and patient centred focus on care delivery. 

You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register

Hours of work are: 34.5 hrs currently working a 12-hour shift pattern.
