Full Job Description

We are pleased to announce that an exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated and enthusiastic, band 5 RNLD/RMN/RGN registered nurses to join our Learning Disability service within Loch View, Larbert.

The successful candidates will be able to display excellent communication skills, organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver a therapeutic model of care within our dynamic in-patient Assessment and Treatment service delivering on the keys to life and coming home recommendations, reducing health inequalities and ensuring equal access to health care.

A flexible approach to work is essential to ensure person centred care is delivered. A genuine interest in working with people with a learning disability who have co-morbid mental health issues and/or physical health who may challenge services is essential. Training will be given and this will assist in evidence basing NMC Revalidation.

Previous experience would be advantageous although the post is open to newly qualified RNLD/RMN/RGN nurses.
