Full Job Description
Role Summary
Reporting to the Head of Internal Control, Compliance, and Legal, the Regulatory Reporting & Oversight Manager is responsible for ensuring all regulatory reporting is completed accurately and on time. The role involves understanding existing reporting capabilities and working with the Business Intelligence team to develop new reports as needed, to monitor operational risk and compliance across the organisation, ensuring customers consistently receive positive outcomes.
The Regulatory Reporting & Oversight Manager leads a team of Oversight Analysts, ensuring the oversight framework is fit for purpose and followed by first and second-line teams. Additionally, the role serves as Secretary for the Compliance & Operational Risk Committee, managing the preparation of monthly report packs, taking minutes, and tracking actions.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Reporting
- Ensure all regulatory reporting is completed accurately and submitted on time, both internally and to external bodies such as the FCA, FLA, and ICO.
- Utilise existing reports and develop new ones to monitor customer outcomes and operational risk, reporting results and taking necessary actions.
- Maintain comprehensive, up-to-date knowledge of: Relevant regulatory frameworks, the motor finance industry, products, processes, and procedures

Oversight
- Ensure an effective oversight framework is established and maintained across first and second-line teams.
- Provide regular feedback to the Head of Internal Control, Compliance, and Legal, as well as relevant departments, on monitoring and oversight performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure senior management is informed of oversight findings, escalating issues appropriately.
- Act as Secretary for the Compliance & Operational Risk Committee, including preparing monthly reports, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
Team Management
- Lead the team of Oversight Analysts to ensure adherence to the oversight framework, with findings reported and acted upon effectively.
- Promote collaboration and continuous improvement by identifying ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, fostering a solutions-driven culture.
- Conduct one-to-one meetings with team members, documenting outcomes and providing ongoing support and training to maintain a motivated team.
Essential Experience
Education
- Educated to Higher / A Level standard
Business Experience
- Proven analytical and reporting experience
- Experience in Quality and Assurance
- Strong knowledge of CONC, TCF principles, and GDPR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
