An opportunity has arisen for the position of Vascular Access Nurse within the Tayside Renal Service.  The base for this key specialist role will be Ninewells Hospital, however travel throughout the NHS Tayside Renal service is a requirement of the post.

Applicants should have extensive working within a Renal service. We are looking for an individual who can work in this specialist role, promoting the importance of timely and efficient vascular access.  Evidence of recent CPD activity and studying at degree level or equivalent experience is essential for this role.

If you are looking for a new opportunity to work as an autonomous, specialist nurse and have the leadership qualities and organisational skills to manage this case load, please send informal enquiries to Rona Grieve, Senior Nurse, Tayside Renal Service ext 55578, Bleep 3263 or Claire Moir, Renal Vascular Access Nurse on ext 36699

Hours of work : 22.2 hours per week

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Recruiting Board.

Short-listed applicants will be contacted by email.   Please check your emails regularly, including your junk/spam folder.
