Renewable Energy Solicitor (Real Estate)

Location: Edinburgh or Glasgow
Experience: 1-6 years PQE

About the Role
An exciting opportunity for a solicitor to join a leading Renewable Energy team, advising a wide array of clients in Scotland’s renewable energy sector. Our client base includes developers, investors, landowners, funders, communities, and planning authorities, with projects spanning wind, hydro, solar, battery storage, marine, and emerging green hydrogen technologies.

The role involves:

  • Drafting and negotiating key documents such as exclusivity agreements, options, and leases for both developers and landowners.
  • Conducting due diligence on existing projects for investors and funders.
  • Assisting clients throughout the renewables supply chain and supporting their evolving legal needs within this fast-paced industry.

The team has played a crucial role in shaping Scotland’s renewable energy sector, advising on projects covering a significant portion of the nation’s renewable electricity capacity.
