Residential Letting – Trainee Property Manager

Edinburgh / Salary Guide: £23,000 to £26,000 (depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, Award Winning & busy city centre Letting Agency.

 

This is an important role within the company therefore our client is looking for someone who is a team player with positive energy, is well organised and is able to deliver a first-class service to tenants & landlords. 

 

A ‘want to learn’ attitude & positive mind-set will play a big part in our client’s decision process as will having the right personality fit to complement the existing small team.

 

The role will involve supporting the team in all aspects of admin duties and will be varied as well as involving time spent in and out the office.

 

A full clean UK Driver’s Licence is essential.

 

The role

Arranging inventories and check-ins for incoming tenants

Arranging end of tenancy check outs and dilapidation reports

Dealing with deposit releases

Lease preparation 

Dealing with any landlord and tenant queries.

Submitting insurance claims and deposit disputes for landlords and tenants

Arrange and carry out property inspections with tenants and reporting to Landlords with feedback 

Carry out viewings for properties on the market

Serving the relevant notice on Short Assured tenancies and Private Residential Tenancies.

Processing rent warranty renewals

Managing rent arrears

HMO Licensing
