Full Job Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. 

This is a permanent, part-time post of 25 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday (14.00pm 19.00pm).

Please note the salary is Pro Rata for part time hours.

The Retail Department at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital is looking for a part time Retail Catering Assistant to join our team to carry out a wide range of general catering duties within our on-site retail outlet ensuring a high quality level of customer service and food safety.

Duties will include serving the NHS staff, patients and staff, refilling stock, recording temperatures and cash handling.

Excellent verbal communication, good organisation skills, previous catering experience, barista trained, cash handling and strong customer service skills are essential.
