Full Job Description

Reporting in to the Director of Revenue you will support the UK Hotels in maintaining peak profitability to maximise occupancy and achieve the best possible room yield.,

  • Load rates and packages, managing all distribution channels terms of rates and room availability.
  • Provide the Director of Revenue with accurate information on competitor pricing, availability and business trends.
  • Produce business forecasts that will ensure we deliver consistent results and stay one step ahead of the competition.
  • Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting.
  • Perform competitive benchmark studies and advise of market trends.
  • Maintain the group demand calendar on a monthly basis.
  • Review New Reservations and Cancellation reports on a daily basis.
  • Manage and oversee strategy for all 3rd party distribution.
  • Run and review booking channels e.g. Expedia and Booking.com.
  • Run, review and email future GEO Source information.
  • Run, review and email relevant business report e.g. Group Budget, pick up report and BOB.
  • Ensure the management of Rate Codes within Opera and Synxis are aligned.
  • Assist with reviewing the Pace reports, discuss with Revenue Director.
  • Review, Analyse and discuss Month End report with Revenue Director.
  • Assist with assessing, analysing and pricing group business strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales and reservations team in a supportive and flexible manner.

Naturally, you will bring with you in-depth knowledge of hotel property management systems.

    You will stay abreast of performance, keeping your finger on the pulse when it comes to events that could create troughs and peaks in demand, adjusting rate strategies quickly and confidently to remain competitive whilst maximising revenue opportunities.
