We have an exciting opportunity to join our Revenues Team in a permanent role. The team are friendly and supportive and deliver high quality service to the residents of East Renfrewshire. The team are responsible for Council Tax billing and collection and for invoicing and collection of Housing Benefit Overpayments. As part of this role you will be responsible for processing customer data accurately and efficiently and will communicate with customers using their preferred method of contact.

We need someone who has has experience of dealing with customers, and delivering high standards of customer care. We are looking for someone with good communication skills, interpersonal skills and who works well in a team environment.

The successful post holder should have strong numerical skills and ideally, have an interest in Local Government Finance and local taxation.

Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.
